Hand-Painted Mughal Miniature Bedside Cabinet – Teal Ground, Court Scene Door & Landscape Top
The Companion Piece.
The smaller cabinet in the same Mughal miniature hand-painted tradition — a bedside table or accent cabinet entirely covered in painting. The ground is antique teal-green, with a dense all-over hand-painted green leaf and small flower vine repeat wrapping every surface of the case. The top carries a Mughal landscape scene: figures beneath a tree on a painted ground. The single upper drawer has a yellow-gold border with hand-painted floral motifs and an iron keyhole escutcheon. The door holds a full Mughal miniature — a court figure with elephant in a garden landscape — framed within a red inner border and yellow outer border. Iron bar handle and iron latch on the door. Four bun feet.
Use it as a bedside table, a drinks table, an accent cabinet or a display piece.
