Antique Sage Green Jali Wall Panel with Double Mughal Arch Doors
A Door That Became Art.
This wall panel started life as a window or cabinet door — and carries all of that history in its finish. Two hinged Mughal arch doors, each covered from top to bottom in deeply hand-carved open jali fretwork: an intricate interlocking geometric lattice of circular dot and petal motifs that lets light pass through and casts delicate patterned shadows on whatever wall it hangs against. The carved central column between the two doors and the dense scrolling vine border frame on all four sides complete a piece that is architectural in scale and entirely handmade in character.
The finish is a deeply distressed sage green — aged, chipped and layered in a way that cannot be replicated. Hang it as a standalone wall art panel, use it as a decorative room divider element, or mount it as a cabinet door surround.
