Antique Teal Carved Mango Wood Wall Panel – Patchwork Relief & Central Medallion

An Entire Vocabulary of Carving. One Panel.

No two sections of this wall panel are carved the same. The surface is an intricate patchwork of relief-carved zones arranged across the full face: scrolling acanthus, feather and peacock fan motifs, geometric cross-hatch and brick patterns, floral rosettes, leaf sprays, rope-twist bands, sun and starburst roundels, temple arch motifs, dot-and-dash borders. At the very centre, a raised rectangular cartouche framed with a rope-twist border holds a carved oval medallion with a four-petal flower. The outer edge runs a clean stepped moulding border. Antique teal-green distressed finish throughout, the patina sitting differently in every carved recess. Hang it above a sofa, a bed, a sideboard, or fill an entire wall with it.
