Rajasthani Jharokha Coffee Table – Multicolour Enamel Roundel Jali Top & Carved Walnut Frame
A Window Repurposed as a Table.
The tabletop of this coffee table is a reclaimed Rajasthani jali screen — a dense grid of hand-painted ceramic enamel roundels, each one a different colour combination (teal, yellow, green, blue, pink, purple, red) carrying a small painted floral motif at its centre, all set within a dark iron lattice framework. A sheet of glass sits over the top to protect the surface while keeping the colour and pattern fully visible. The frame is solid dark walnut mango wood, with a carved rope-twist and floral relief border running all four inner edges. Iron bolt hardware on two apron sides. Four heavy turned column legs. A table with genuine material history in its top.
