Hand-Painted Rajasthani Metal Pot Set of 3 – Aged Parchment Blue-Grey Floral & Iron Nail Studs
The Antique One.
A set of three hand-painted Rajasthani metal pots in graduated sizes — the most aged and antique-feeling of the collection. The form is a tall ovoid with a slight waist, wide open rim, and a heavy dark patina at the rim and base that gives each pot a genuinely old, found-object character. The warm parchment and aged cream ground is divided into two clear horizontal zones by a narrow dark dot-work and bead separator band studded with iron dome nail heads. Both the upper shoulder zone and lower body zone carry the same delicate hand-painted blue-grey floral: small open flowers with dark leaf sprays, motifs widely spaced, restrained, ground always present. The painting is light enough that the aged surface does most of the work. Small iron ring handles on each shoulder. Dark interior.
Display all three grouped, arrange along a console or mantle, or use the largest as a floor statement. Pairs naturally with any of the richly painted sets in the collection as a tonal counterpoint.
