Hand-Painted Rajasthani Metal Barrel Pot Set of 3 – Sky Blue Floral Panels & Teal Collar
Hand-Painted Rajasthani Metal Barrel Pot Set of 3 – Sky Blue Floral Panels & Teal Collar
Tall. Panelled. Folkloric.
A set of three hand-painted Rajasthani metal barrel pots in graduated sizes — a completely different form from the round-bellied pot tradition. These are tall and cylindrical with a wide open top and a distinct wide flared collar rim in dark teal. The body is structured into vertical rectangular panels divided by narrow gold and orange painted borders, creating a panelled barrel effect. Each panel is painted on a sky-blue ground with large hand-painted floral bouquets — white, orange, red and yellow flowers with sweeping green leaf sprays in a bold folk-art style. Between the main panels, narrow dark teal vertical stripes carry fine scrolling white vine detail. The collar rim is dark teal with painted scrolling detail throughout. Two small teal-painted loop handles on each pot. Dark interior.
Display all three grouped or line them along a wide shelf, mantle or floor arrangement. The largest makes a striking standalone floor pot.
