Hand-Painted Metal Floor Vase – Ivory Multiband Floral & Teal Vine | Large 73 cm

Layer Upon Layer of Painting.

A hand-painted metal floor vase in a distinctive wide-shouldered barrel form that tapers to a narrow base, with a small cylindrical neck and dark rim with two small iron ring handles. The entire exterior carries a multiband painted decoration on an ivory cream and yellow ground: a teal green scrolling vine and arabesque band wraps the shoulder and neck; below it, a scattered pink and red floral band covers the widest part of the body; a terracotta-pink dot-work and floral band marks the lower body; and a dark leaf and crosshatch pattern finishes the base. The result is a piece that reads differently at every viewing angle and every distance — always complex, always warm.

Also available in: 63 cm (medium) and 49 cm (small).
