Hand-Carved Whitewash Floral Vine Four-Panel Room Divider Screen
Light Through Flowers.
Each panel of this screen is divided into two tall framed sections, both filled with deeply carved open floral and vine jali — large stylised flowers, grape clusters, curling leaves and scrolling vines cut entirely through the wood so light and shadow pass freely. The panels are topped with an ornate scalloped floral carved crest. The entire screen is finished in an all-over antique white grey whitewash — distressed, with warm wood grain showing through the carved recesses. In a bright room, it casts intricate lace-like shadow patterns on the floor and walls.
Use it as a room divider, partition, decorative screen, or a light and airy standing statement piece.
