Hand-Carved Turquoise Floral Mandala Sideboard Cabinet
The Mandala, Twice Over.
Each door of this sideboard is its own composition. A large central circular medallion sits at the centre of the carved panel, its concentric rings of floral motifs radiating outward into open scrolling vine and flower cutwork that fills the full panel to its frame. Light passes through the open jali carving. Two small round brass knobs mark the door join. The entire cabinet — top, carcass, doors, legs — is painted in a single all-over turquoise teal blue, letting the carved relief do all the visual work.
Use it as a sideboard, media unit, or statement storage piece in a living room, dining room or bedroom.
