Hand-Carved Sage Green Mughal Arch Console Table with Jali Drawer
Two Kinds of Carving. One Console.
This console table is built around a contrast of techniques. The wide drawer front is carved in dense open jali — a geometric star-and-hexagon lattice that repeats across the full width, with small brass hinge hardware at intervals. Below it, the apron is carved in deep relief: scrolling floral vines and birds flank a central Mughal horseshoe arch that opens through the apron to the floor. Carved pilaster columns mark each corner. The entire piece — top, drawer, apron, columns and legs — is finished in all-over sage green.
Use it as an entryway console, a hall table, or a statement sideboard against a feature wall.
