This console table is built around an idea: what if the space beneath the surface was as considered as the surface itself? A full Mughal pointed arch — hand-carved, open to the wall behind it — spans the width of the piece, flanked by two ornately carved columns and crowned by a top rail covered entirely in scrolling floral and vine relief. The spandrel panels filling the corners between the arch and the columns are themselves deeply carved, leaving no surface untouched.

The finish is natural — a rich dark walnut mango wood that lets the depth of the carving speak without distraction. The flat solid wood top provides a generous, practical surface above it all.
