Hand-Carved Deep Teal Sideboard with Tile Inlays & Iron Ring Pulls
Iron Rings. Ceramic Tiles. Dense Carving. All Teal.
This sideboard operates differently to its lighter sibling. The front is divided into three panels: a central door with horizontal carved planking and two large iron ring pulls — the kind of hardware that feels genuinely old — flanked by two side panels each carrying a vertical column of hand-painted ceramic tiles in cobalt, blue and multicolor geometric floral patterns. Every remaining surface is covered in dense all-over scrolling vine and leaf carving, and large round brass dome studs punctuate the tile borders throughout.
The deep distressed teal green finish is richer and more saturated than a simple painted colour — layered, aged and entirely handmade. The open slatted lower shelf below provides practical additional storage.
