The Durbar Bench.

This is a bench made for an entrance hall, a veranda, or anywhere that deserves a piece with real presence. The back rises tall, with a carved rope-twist and rosette frieze rail running the full width at the top — a large carved medallion rosette at centre. Below it, a row of X-cross lattice panels sits framed between vertical back rails. Both arms end in full carved rearing horse heads mounted on pedestals — not decorative motifs, but sculptural forms with real detail: mane, harness, raised hooves. Four turned column legs support the seat. Ball finials cap all four back post tops. All in antique white distressed finish.

Seat is flat — add cushions or leave bare for the full architectural effect.
