Copper Brown Double-Door Wall Panel with Pink Glass Tiles & Octagonal Frames

Two Doors. One Panel. All Handmade.

This double-door wall panel has more architectural detail than most pieces twice its size. Two hinged doors, each carrying a grid of hand-painted pink, red and multicolor glass tiles set into individual octagonal carved frames with scalloped edges — a frame within a frame on every tile. Between and around the tiles, mixed large and small brass dome studs fill every remaining surface. A central vertical iron bar latch holds the two doors together. The surrounding border and top header frieze are covered in carved scrolling vine and leaf relief throughout.

The warm copper brown finish on the mango wood gives the whole piece a rich, aged quality that reads as genuinely old. Hang it as a wall panel or use it as a decorative door surround.
