Antique Teal Carved Mango Wood Wall Panel – Geometric Patchwork Relief & Central Medallion
Geometry as Carving. Carving as Architecture.
The companion to our scrolling acanthus patchwork panel — same format, same scale, an entirely different carved language. Where the first is organic and flowing, this one is precise and architectural. The outer border runs a diamond cross-hatch repeat. The inner patchwork zones are tight and rectilinear: striped brick columns, chevron bands, grid dot patterns, fan and shell motifs, angular geometry throughout. At the centre, the same raised rectangular cartouche with rope-twist border holds a carved oval medallion with a four-petal flower. Antique teal-green distressed finish throughout. Hang them as a pair, or let this one stand alone.
